Ravi Bhatia has a degree in Chemical Engineering and has attended several senior
management programmes. He has over 40 years of managerial and professional experience
in the chemical industry having worked with the Tatas, Nitro Nobel and Dow Chemicals.
In the early years of his career he was trained in Hungary for manufacture of industrial
explosives.
Prior to taking up the Executive Search profession, Ravi Bhatia was on the Board
of Corp Health Products, a large Agro Chemicals Company and later India representative
of GAO Systems Ltd., Canada.
In the past over almost 20 years he has been engaged in Executive Search and Human
Resource Development, first as a partner with The Management Group - a boutique
search firm and then as the CEO of Gilbert Tweed Associates, India. He has handled
several senior level assignments both in India and overseas covering a wide range
of industries in Healthcare, Chemicals, Information Technology and Retailing. He
has been involved with several family run businesses wanting to take on senior executives
from professionally run companies.
Ravi has, along with his colleagues been instrumental in starting and developing
Gilbert Tweed’s business in India and Srilanka making GTA as one of the leading
executive search organisations in this part of the world. He has vast contacts all
over the world in the executive search domain.
Ravi loves traveling and reading as a part of his social responsibility, takes up
adoption of financially underprivileged children for their education and other needs.
